If you have ever wanted a larger leaf trap on your external pump, this is it. Every one of us have been frustrated with emptying pump leaf baskets too often. A larger leaf basket needs to be emptied less often. This translates into a lot less maintenance.

Well, here it is. We call it our Big Leaf Trap (BLT for short) and its one of our favorites. Get the Double Stack and choose 1 1/2 inch ports with female thread or 2 inch ports sized to slip into a 2 inch PVC fitting. If you need the Single Stack Model, it includes the 2 inch ports sized to fit into a 2 inch PVC fitting. The 2 inch port models are recommended for improved flow and less restriction. Both the ABS Plastic Basket and the Stainless Steel Basket (Recommended) are in stock. Also choose a pair of schedule 40 quick connect unions sold below for any 2 inch BLT. The Unions make an already easy installation even easier.

These are awesome items. The inlet and outlet ports on the double stack can be adjusted to accommodate your plumbing positions. One of our customers in Roswell, Georgia has suggested that the BLT be installed into every system. They are that effective! – and are available in either gray or clear, and all Big Leaf Traps are made in the USA and all parts are available here as well.

Single Stack BLT

The smallest Big Leaf Trap that will still out-perform any leaf basket especially those on the front of external pumps. Ports are 2 inch slip to attach a 2 inch union or 2 inch fitting. Select either the Clear and Gray. Single Stack is 14 inches tall, by 10 inches in diameter.
