Description & Specifications
This all-weather polypropylene fabric (UV stabilized) withstands the effects of sun, rain and wind. It also provides a controlled light/shade ratio for your plants. (see below)
It is available in a variety of shade percentage levels and is also supplied in master rolls to ensure uniform fabric strength and to fit your specific requirements. Light in weight for easy, economical installation and storage.
You will find shade cloth useful for shading your ponds to reduce algae, prevent sun damage to fish, preventing debris from entering your pond (leaves rotting in your pond create hydrogen sulfide gas, which can kill your fish) and reducing water temperature. Other applications include, predator control and visibility screening, shade house, green houses, sport and recreation areas, pools and patios, dog kennels, livestock, garden centers, ferneries, residential and wind break areas. Custom made shade cloth panels are made to your specifications.
Woven shade cloth is made of top quality black monofilament polypropylene, UV stabilized for years of use with a minimum of care. Standard widths are 6', 10' and 12' and can be factory seamed to any width and ordered to any length.
We supply everything from standard width rolls to precut, seamed, taped and grommet custom panels.
Shade cloth is rated for the amount of light it blocks. Numerous shade cloth percentages are available.
